In Spain, severe depression currently affects 230,000 people, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE). Furthermore, in the European Union, around 30 million people suffer from depression.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the prevalence of mental illnesses will continue to rise in the future, becoming the leading cause of disability by the year 2030. With this outlook in mind, Mendel Brain has a defined purpose and has initiated research projects aimed at addressing specific issues affecting our society.

We aim to collaborate with organizations and associations interested in joining us in the implementation of these research projects. We are focused on addressing challenges related to mental health, such as depression, stress, and anxiety. We seek to establish partnerships with entities committed to the common good, willing to work hand in hand on initiatives that contribute to improving mental health and the well-being of society as a whole.
